Storage for a small kitchen

In a small kitchen every slot counts. The gap next to the fridge or between the last cabinet and the wall is usually 15 to 30 cm, and a whole pantry fits there if the unit is narrow and tall.

Narrow units

20 and 30 cm wide kitchen cabinets with shelves or pull-out baskets hold bottles, spices and tins. If the gap does not reach the ceiling, a narrow trolley on castors rolls out for use and hides away afterwards.

30–40 cm deep

Wall cabinets are 30–35 cm deep and base cabinets 60 cm. On a free wall opposite the worktop, a 30 cm deep shelving unit leaves room to pass and holds crockery and small appliances.
